What's selling right now, from the people selling it.
Every week I ask working resellers what's moving, what's sitting, and what they're actually getting for it. This is what came back: the specifics, how strong the signal is, and what to stop buying.

Send it their way. It's free, and it gets better the more sellers are in on it.
Price reality: most sales are still landing between $10 and $30. Pricier pieces sell, just slower and to the right buyer.
From seller reports across several reseller groups, early to mid Oct.
Price check
"You can't win a race against a clearance rack. They bought a truckload, you bought a piece."
Jessica Orlic, Rejected Treasures Luxury Resale
A sticker isn't a sale. Price against what things actually SOLD for, not what TJ Maxx, Ross, or someone's Vinted closet has them listed at.
Get pickier inside the brand. Common sizes and colors of brands like Lululemon are everywhere now. The versions the racks don't carry still sell.
Premium denim is about the model and wash now, not the label.
If a piece would sit on a Ross rack for weeks, it'll sit in your closet too.

Holiday, split by timing
NEW
Now: vintage Halloween decor. The window closes Oct 31. List it this week or hold it until next fall.
Flip: vintage Christmas. Genuine vintage ornaments and tree skirts. Reproduction C7 bulbs sell as lots or sorted by color. Moving on Facebook groups and eBay. As one seller put it, "Christmas is already in stores."
Hold: unsilvered glass ornaments. The striped, WWII-era ones are the collector piece. Price them for the right buyer.
New with tags is gift inventory. Get it listed before December.
Why now: buyers shop the holiday that's coming, not the one that's hereCaveat: some sellers say Christmas hasn't picked up for them yetSignal: solid
'90s and 2000s toys: the specific lines
FLIP
Monster High (the older dolls), Littlest Pet Shop, Polly Pocket, Fisher-Price Little People, and Mego figures.
Gymboree kids' clothes, vintage only.
Not every old toy. '90s plush sits, even new in box. One seller has had two listed for almost two years.
Why now: kids from that era are adults buying their childhood backSignal: strong, across multiple groups
Vintage sports gear, on the sports calendar
FLIP
Team jerseys, track jackets, Starter satin jackets, vintage hats.
Basketball season is next, so list hoops gear ahead of it.
New data point: a vintage Wilson wood tennis racquet sold for about $37.
Why now: buyers shop the season that's comingSignal: strong
Antique and vintage china
HOLD
Older china and depression glass, especially high-end and rare patterns.
Buy complete sets, not single pieces. A dishware seller says the orphans she buys to build a set usually just sit.
Why now: holiday tables and hosting seasonSignal: strong for rare, weak for everyday (see Cooling)

How this list works
Every week I work through multiple large Facebook reseller groups, asking what's moving, what's sitting, and what sellers are actually getting for it, and following up on the threads that turn up something real. Something becomes a call when multiple sellers report it on their own. Early, single-source reports go to email readers as tips.
Prices and percentages come from what sellers shared, not a sales-data feed. Platform notes are for the US. Sellers are only named with their permission. No affiliate links, no paid placements.
